A sure way to pass!

You need to be 17 years old before you can drive on the road. You also need to have a provisional driving licence. Pick up a form from your nearest post office or visit: www.postoffice.co.uk for more information and you can apply from the age of 16.

Remember - allow at least a couple of weeks for the licence to come through, so bear this in mind if you want your licence in time for a lesson on your 17th birthday.
Your very first driving lesson will cover the controls of the car, and you will gain some experience of finding the "biting point" and moving off and stopping.
Your second lesson will be controlling the car on the move and changing gears.

Each driving lesson is adapted to suit your needs and taken at your own pace.

For further information on driving, please go to the Driving Standards Agency website: www.dsa.gov.uk
